Sediment Water Filter: The first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter works as the first barrier in the reverse osmosis system by removing solid particles like silt, rust and dirt from the water and reducing a significant percentage of contaminants in the water. This prevents the other filters from getting clogged with fine particles and reduces the risk of damage to the other parts of the filtration system.
Carbon Block Filter: The second and third stage CTO Carbon Block filters are made of coconut shell carbon to increase filtration efficiency and extend filter life. Activated carbon filters trap and absorb chemicals and chlorine from the water. This results in the removal of odors and an improvement on the taste of the water.
